Iranian Architecture quarterly


Before publishing the quarterly Iranian Architecture, I was the chief editor of the magazine Architecture and Urban Planning from 1995 to 2000. During this period , the new editorial board of the magazine, which had been appointed at the very same time , decided to obtain the permission to publish another magazine and to possibly substitute it for the magazine Architecture and Urban Planning. To fulfil this, I was introduced to the governmental organization in charge of issuing the necessary license. The new editorial board, with regards to its aims, chose the title Iranian Architecture for the new magazine which was to be published quarterly. Having given its consent to publish the quarterly under this title, the editorial board, for one reason or another, abandoned the idea of publishing it altogether; consequently, I published it independently. My aims in publishing the quarterly differed from those of the editorial board. My goal, in general, was to follow and study the worlds architectural events which certainly included
